IT MAY ONLY be March, but we have a sneaking suspicion that this will end up being the best correction of 2016.
This morning, Wired published an article entitled Never Mind Trump. The Internet Wants To Watch What’s Behind Him. The article explores the phenomenon of “marginal media” and that Chris Christie meme that was everywhere last week.
The piece is going viral, but not for the reason you might think. No, it’s not the subject matter that has everyone excited, but rather this glorious correction at the end of the article.

The culprit? This handy Chrome extension that helpfully replaces Donald Trump’s name with the phrase “Someone With Tiny Hands”.

This is what the article looked like before it was edited.
Believe it or not, the extension caught Wired out not once, but twice. The following correction can now be seen at the end of a story about presidential candidate figurines.
Needless to say, the correction has blown up on Twitter.
